T2OT2 Facebook Chatbot 2016-2017
Developed a bot in Facebook Messenger that housemates can send commands to in order to see who is currently home, whether the washing machine or dryer is in use, or to manage the shared shopping list. It runs on a Raspberry Pi computer and is written in Python.
Internet Connected Plate of Ribs 2017
Innovated 4th of July celebrations with a plate of ribs would command a hat to initiate a patriotic light show and blair the National Anthem every time a bite was taken. The objective was to gain experience in the realm of The Internet of Things, Python programming, and barbecuing.
Temperature Based Alarm Clock 2016-Present
Invented a wearable alarm clock that wakes its user by rapidly changing temperature. This is a more accessible option for people whose senses are impaired or are difficult to wake-up. The goal was to develop skills in hardware design and Python/C programming.
Trilidae Smart Lab Goggles 2016-Present
Collaborated with a team to create a pair of holographic lab goggles to increase productivity and safety in lab environments. It utilizes text-to-speech, voice recognition, optics/displays, Python and C++ programming, and Internet of Things.
